E3 Coverage

Yesterday we’ve seen XBOX reveal what they have in store this upcoming year.  Sequels to popular games like Gears of War, Resident Evil and Fallout seen great responses from the masses.  XBOX plans on having huge content to their interface, most notably the “avatar” which appears to be a Mii rip-off, but with a lot more of customization.

Today we’ve seen what the Wii has in store.  An add on the the remote to help the remote be even more recognized in 3d space, which could mean even more original Wii games in the future.  This was showcased with a game called “Wii Resort,” where audiences actually saw a sword fighting game (an interactive Zelda game anyone?)  Overall though, the Wii’s showcase this year was a bit of a letdown, with only highlights being Animal Crossing and Wii Resort (other titles almost don’t seem worth mentioning.)

As we speak, Sony is revealing new games and peripherals.  More on that as it unfolds.  With only one more day of E3, are we to expect some surprise announcements (PLEASE show us a new Mario, Zelda or SOMETHING great first party Nintendo.)  Will XBOX have a price cut soon?  I guess we’ll have to wait.
